With a decade of experience in welding, pipefitting, and boilermaking, Sam cut his teeth working on grand-scale locomotives before working professionally in full size boiler and locomotive repair shops. With a keen interest in all aspects of railroad preservation, he saw a need in the hobby for safe, high quality boilers. Clover Creek was started with the goal to become a full-service supplier to those who might not have the time or skills to construct their own. We have the expertise and craftsmanship to help bring your dream into reality. In the past we have helped work on a full range of steam projects- from miniature boilers to full sized locomotives. Our name and logo were inspired by our family dog, Clover. From the start she has been a loyal companion, spending weekends riding behind live steam with our family. When she isn't playing in her creek, she makes her rounds as shop supervisor, checking in on each project.
